Rally for the Republic at Virginia capitol

The Convention of States Project Virginia team wants all Virginians to know that there is a solution to ending federal tyranny by restoring meaningful limits on federal power—but only if we insist that our state legislators use their power in Article V of the Constitution to place a final check on Washington, D.C.

What: “Rally for the Republic” in Richmond on Tuesday, January 27 at 10 a.m. Dr. Michael Farris, leader of the Convention of States Project and founder of Home School Legal Defense Association, will be our keynote speaker.

When: Tuesday, January 27 at 10 a.m.

Where: Bell Tower on Capitol Square, Virginia State Capitol, 1000 Bank St., Richmond, Virginia 23219. The Visitor’s Guide to the Capitol includes a very useful diagram of Capitol Square. Use it to locate the Bell Tower, which is close to where 9th Street (western boundary of Capitol Square) intersects Bank Street (southern boundary of Capitol Square).

Who: All Virginians who are interested in supporting a Constitutional solution for ending the abuse of power by our federal government. It’s time to put Constitutional muscle back in the hands of the states. If you plan on attending, please R.S.V.P. to Karen Angulo at

Why: Immediately following the rally, you will have a great opportunity to walk inside the General Assembly Building and visit the offices of your Virginia delegate and senator. Convention of States Project volunteers will be available to assist you in locating their offices, and we will provide you with a card to leave with them.
