Calling all volunteers in the Helena area! We need your help next week.
This is our make it or break month for Montana. Our prime sponsor, Senator Roger Webb is filing Convention of States legislation, which will soon be heard before committee. On January 26th and 27th, Mark Meckler and Prof. Rob Natelson will be visiting the state to hold open forums with the general public and meet with legislators. They will be answering questions regarding the Article V process, and will encourage Montana legislators to pass our resolution to limit the power and jurisdiction of the federal government.
Although our Montana legislators are open to restraining the overreaching federal government, they have been hesitant to step-up and commit to supporting legislation. They are waiting to hear from us, their constituents. This makes it crucial that we work hard to encourage legislators to attend a January 27 luncheon with Mark and Rob to learn the facts about Article V and our movement.
We need your help to make it happen. This Sunday, January 18, we will be meeting in Helena to organize volunteer efforts to ensure that Mark and Rob’s two day visit to the state is a huge success, with large attendance from legislators AND citizens. Come on out, eat a little dinner or a snack, and sign-up to help us get out the word THIS WEEK!
