Tuesday, Jan. 27, 12 noon, Montana State Capitol-- Room 303 4th floor Gallery, (Take elevator on Senate (East) side of Capitol to 4th Floor.)

Presentations by Professor Rob Natelson and Mark Meckler.

Professor Robert “Rob” K. Natelson, Senior Fellow in Constitutional Jurisprudence and Director of the Article V Information Center at the Independence Institute, will report on his scrupulous Article V scholarly research, including historical practice and what the courts tell us about applying it. 

Mark Meckler, President of Citizens for Self-Governance, parent organization of the Convention of States Project, will provide information about the nonpartisan proposal to use Article V to call a Convention of States.  Georgia, Florida and Alaska have adopted the conformed resolution.  The Montana Joint Resolution is sponsored by Sen. Roger Webb, Rep. Seth Berglee and others.
