Nothing Too Small Jordan Sillars October 22, 2013 Mark Wohlschlegel II As I’ve worked on the Convention of States Project, I’ve had the opportunity to talk with many great everyday patriots. They are deeply concerned for America and want to preserve the country they knew for their children and grandchildren. As we explain how we can use the Constitution to put restraints on Washington, D.C., I am always encouraged by their excitement and desire to help save America. I am particularly touched by those who have little but still give for the cause. I think of a retired woman who, though on a tight budget, has made it a point to give a small donation. I think of a Wal-Mart greeter who, when not working, sends letters to her editor and talks to anyone who will listen about the need to restrain the federal government. I think of another woman who, though not owning a computer, calls her state legislator to plead for their support for a Convention of States. There is no contribution too small. Every donation given, every phone call made, every letter written, every conversation communicating the need for citizens to stand up is a large contribution toward calling a Convention of States. We at Citizens for Self-Governance have the privilege to work with you to make this happen. In your giving, you contribute more than you know. You continue the work our ancestor started – to preserve freedom and self-governance of the people, by the people, and for the people. I thank each and every one of you for ALL that you do. WE CAN DO THIS.
