Most US citizens are angry with Congress and the federal government for a variety of reasons, including runaway spending, an "affordable" healthcare system that costs more for less care, and members of Congress who accomplish little because they are deadlocked and spend most of their time getting reelected.
Come to the town hall meeting to learn how YOU can help stop the runaway spending, require all laws passed by Congress to apply to members of Congress as well as ordinary citizens, and fix term limits on members of Congress and other officials. This can be done at an Article V Convention, provided for by Article V of the United States Constitution.
Guest speakers Anthony Anderson & Vickie Deppe from the Convention of States Project will explain the process--which requires help from citizens and state legislators. It requires the legislatures in at least 34 states to call for a convention. At present, 7 have completed the process; and 29 more have filed the necessary resolution.
