Arkansas Call to Action: Contact your House member IMMEDIATELY

We're facing strong opposition in Arkansas from a small anti-Article V group intent on sowing fear of the Framers' Convention of States process.

But you know the facts. You know the Framers included the Convention of States option for such a time as this, and your House members needs to hear it.

The Arkansas House is scheduled to vote on the Convention of States application -- HJR 1003 -- later this afternoon. We need you to call the members of the Arkansas House IMMEDIATELY and voice your support for HJR 1003.

Click here to find the House member's contact info.

You can call or send an email, but we ask, given the time constraints, you give them a call.

You can say something like this:

I believe the federal government is out of control, and the solution won't come from D.C. Fortunately, Article V gives the states an effective, legal, and safe solution to runaway debt, over-regulation, and federal abuse of power.

Some of your constituents may have voiced uninformed fears of a "runaway convention." I want to give you the facts. There is a wealth of legal, historical, and logical evidence to prove a Convention of States can be limited to a single subject. Furthermore, a Convention of States cannot amend the Constitution; it can only propose amendments. Thirty-eight states must ratify any amendments coming out of the Convention, ensuring only the best amendments can become part of the Constitution.

I hope you will join me in supporting HJR 1003 to end federal tyranny and restore the rightful power to the states. Thank you for your service to our state.
